MAINTENANCE MANAGER - M&E CONTRACTOR - IRELAND
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client are an M&E Contractor who work on major projects in the
areas of Mechanical Services, Air Conditioning, Electrical Services
and Process Engineering for Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical and
Medical Clients
Due to continuous expansion of our clients maintenance division, we
now have a requirement for a maintenance manager / engineer.
Role is to be primarily focused in the Leinster region. However,
nationwide travel will be required from time to time.
This is a multi-site based role reporting into head office.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance
tasks and delivering maintenance project packages from co-ordination
to commissioning.
In addition to routine maintenance and Service Level Agreement
contract delivery candidate will be responsible for delivering small
works projects from tender to handover.
Travel will be required depending on project allocation.
Services include Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and
plumbing.
Candidate should be familiar with MS Office suite (outlook, word,
excel, project) and will be equipped with mobile tablet reporting
devices.
Candidate must have engineering qualification or relevant trade
background.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Relevant 3rd level qualification or trade qualification
3+ years experience post qualification essential
Experience in a mechanical/electrical contracting environment
essential
Planning of all resources including labour, materials and
sub-contractors
Be commercially astute and develop a good relationship with the
commercial team
Be the on-site point of contact for the client/client representative &
consulting engineers
Manage and drive a site team to meet with all project requirements and
deadlines
Responsible for the provision of method statements, risk assessments
and other relevant documentation
Drawing interpretation and reporting skills essential
Comply with onsite Permit to Work System
Support project managers and maintenance team
Monitor progress against work schedule to identify any issues on the
projects
Liaison with suppliers/procurement department to organize plant and
equipment
Insure project quality is aligned with client & contract requirements
Commissioning projects
